In the period 19 - 23.03 2023 in Oviedo, Spain the scientists from the Institute of Electrochemistry and Energy Systems, BAS - prof. Antonia Stoyanova, Assoc. Prof. Toma Stankulov, Dr. Svetlana Veleva and Dr. Boryana Karamanova in implementation of a joint project with the Institute of Carbon Science and Technology at the Spanish Research Council - "CSIS-INCAR" under the program "European Networks", funded by the Ministry of Education and Science, conducted a working visit.

At the working meeting with the scientific team of prof. Ana Arenilas, the young researchers and PhD students gave short presentations and introduced their Bulgarian colleagues to the main areas of work of the Institute for Carbon Science and Technology "CSIS-INCAR" and the research activities of the group, as well as the equipment and capabilities for the synthesis and characterization of materials. The meeting continued with joint discussions where the possibilities for future collaboration between the two organizations were discussed. Activities were planned for the final completion of the project, the preparation of a joint publication and a final training workshop planned for June 2023.
